How Five Different Products From the Same Brand Perform Across Channels

We analyzed a large e-commerce brand with a diverse product catalog to understand how its top five products perform across marketing channels. On the surface, these products all drive meaningful revenue. But when we broke performance (total sales) down by channel, the story changed. Each product showed a distinct channel mix, with clear differences.

What the Data Shows

Looking at channel performance by product revealed clear differences. Products 1 and 5 relied most heavily on Google Ads for revenue, while Products 2, 3, and 4 performed best on Meta Ads.

The rest of the channel mix shifted slightly by product, highlighting why product-level channel analysis matters.

How This Helps Your Strategy

Product attribution can help guide your ad strategy by highlighting which channels  drive revenue for each product. Instead of applying one strategy across all SKUs, teams can invest with precision, reduce wasted spend, and scale the products and channels that consistently perform.
