Why bundle data matters for BFCM

BFCM discounts cut into margin on every order. Raising average order value is one way to offset that, and bundles are a common way to raise it.

ThoughtMetric shows the combinations customers have already chosen on their own, which gives you a better starting point for an offer.

Where to find product bundle data in ThoughtMetric

In ThoughtMetric, go to Product in the left-hand menu, then click Product Bundles.
Each pair shows how often the two products are bought together, along with the total revenue and average order value for those orders.

1. Build BFCM offers around pairs customers already buy

Start with the pairs that bring in the most revenue. These combinations are in high demand, so they make good candidates for a Black Friday or Cyber Monday bundle offer.

2. Feature proven pairs in your ad creative

Put both products in the same ad creative. Before you launch, look at which campaigns and channels efficiently sell each product in the pair. ThoughtMetric shows revenue by product for every channel and campaign, plus product-level spend and ROAS.
Start with the campaigns that already sell both products. If the two products sell through different campaigns, run the bundle in each for a few days or weeks and see where it picks up before you shift budget.

3. Match each bundle to new or returning customers

ThoughtMetric also shows whether a product’s sales come from new or returning customers. Use this to decide which bundles go to prospecting and which are better saved for retargeting and email efforts.

When to review your bundle data

Check your bundle data in ThoughtMetric before your BFCM creative is final. Black Friday falls on November 27 in 2026, so early November leaves time to set up bundle listings and the ad creative.

Look at recent orders and at last year’s BFCM weekend if you have the history.

Plan BFCM ads around real purchase data

The Product Bundles page in ThoughtMetric lists the pairs your customers buy together, with the revenue and average order value for each. Product-level reporting shows which campaigns sell those products.

Look at both before you finalize your BFCM offers. It’s a lot easier to plan a strong BFCM campaign around products that already sell well.
