How to Tie Revenue Back to an Individual Ad
You just launched a new ad. Now comes the real question: is this ad driving revenue?

Sometimes, you need the big picture (performance on the channel or campaign level), other times, you need to zoom all the way in to the ad level. With ThoughtMetric, you can do both!

Whether you are managing one campaign or fifty, understanding what is working (and what is not) means looking at performance from three different angles: campaign level, ad set level, and ad level.

How It Works

Step One: Campaign-Level View

Start in the Channels section of the ThoughtMetric dashboard and select your ad platform. We will use Meta Ads as an example.
At the campaign level, you get a high-level view of performance across each campaign. This is where you can quickly understand which campaigns are driving revenue and which ones need attention.

Step Two: Ad Set-Level View

Next, you can toggle to the ad set level.
Here, you can compare performance across different audiences, placements, and targeting strategies.

Step Three: Ad-Level View

Finally, toggle to the ad level.

This is where you can tie revenue back to individual ads and see what is truly converting. You will know exactly which ads are pulling their weight and which ones are wasting spend.

Why This Matters

Looking at performance across campaigns, ad sets, and ads gives you a complete picture of what is happening.
