Most attribution tools tell you which channels drive revenue. Fewer break that revenue down by product. The ones that do are typically built for e-commerce.

Product-level attribution shows which channels sell which products. It changes how you think about ad spend, bundles, and what belongs in your top creatives.

Here are four attribution tools that offer product-level reporting, and which pricing tier unlocks it for each.

1. ThoughtMetric

ThoughtMetric is an attribution platform built for e-commerce. It integrates easily with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and BigCommerce. Product analytics is one of the core features and shows performance at the SKU level, including which products drive the most revenue, which ones bring in new vs. returning customers, and how each performs across channels.

The data is useful for merchandising decisions, bundle planning, and figuring out which products to feature in top-spending creatives.

Product attribution tier:
Every plan. ThoughtMetric does not gate features. Pricing starts at $99/month for up to 50,000 pageviews and scales with usage, not feature access.

2. Triple Whale

Triple Whale is for Shopify brands. Its Product Analytics tool toggles between Product, Variant, and SKU level views.

Triple Whale's pricing is tied to the last 12 months of gross merchandise value (GMV). The plan you land on is bracketed by GMV, and not all plans include Product Analytics.

Product attribution tier:
Advanced. Starts at $219/month for the smallest GMV bracket and scales up from there. Lower tiers do not include Product Analytics.

3. Northbeam

Northbeam is an enterprise multi-touch attribution platform. Its Product Analytics dashboard plots SKUs against each other on CAC and ROAS.

Per Northbeam's documentation, Product Analytics is currently free for all Northbeam users on Shopify, but you still need to be on a paid plan to use Northbeam itself.

Product attribution tier: Available on all paid tiers, but only for Shopify stores. Pricing starts at $999/month for the Starter plan, which covers up to 1 million pageviews and includes multi-touch attribution and Shopify integration.

4. Polar Analytics

Polar Analytics is a data and reporting platform for Shopify brands only. It includes product reporting across SKUs, vendors, and categories.

Product attribution tier:
Polar analytics does not list their pricing.

What to look for

A few things worth checking before committing to a tool:
  • Whether product attribution is in the entry tier or only on higher plans
  • How granular the data goes (product, variant, or SKU)
  • Whether it ties to channels and campaigns, or only shows total revenue
  • Whether the tool supports your e-commerce platform if you are not on Shopify

Most of the tools above are Shopify-first. ThoughtMetric integrates with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Magento, with all features included on every plan.
